The founder of Neuro Business Group, Dr. Srini Pillay, is a world-renowned keynote speaker, lecturer, author, consultant and clinician. He is also currently an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry (Part-Time) at Harvard Medical School.
After graduating medical school in South Africa, Dr. Pillay completed his residency in psychiatry at McLean Hospital—Harvard’s largest freestanding psychiatric hospital. He also completed fellowships in Psychopharmacology, Structural Brain Imaging and Functional Brain Imaging.
He was Director of the Outpatient Anxiety Disorders Program at McLean Hospital and spent 17 years there studying functional brain imaging as Director of their Panic Disorders Research Program. During this time, he maintained an active clinical practice which he continues today.
Dr. Pillay has a track record of successfully translating complex research findings in psychiatry into actionable insights for entrepreneurs, technologists, healthcare organizations, businesses, governmental and policy bodies, and the general public.
He received the “Books for a Better Life” award for his book, Life Unlocked: 7 Revolutionary Lessons to Overcome Fear (Rodale, 2010).
He has also written Your Brain and Business: The Neuroscience of Great Leaders (FT Press, 2011.) Srini is tapped for leadership development duties at The World Bank, IMF, United Nations, Lockheed Martin and other Fortune 500 companies. He is an internationally recognized expert in applied brain science and human behavior—addressing both specialists and general audiences on these topics throughout the world.
